Tom Wright (nacido Harold Thomas Wright; 29 de noviembre de 1952) es un actor de televisión y teatro estadounidense. Nació en Englewood, Nueva Jersey y asistió a la Universidad West Chester en West Chester, Pensilvania.[1]
Wright ha aparecido en más de cuarenta producciones de teatro en Broadway. Comenzó su carrera como miembro origianl de The People's Light. En Broadway, actuó en A Taste of Honey que le dio dos nominaciones al Premio Tony.
Wright coprotagonizó en las películas Barbershop y Barbershop 2: Back in Business con Ice Cube. También coprotagonizó con Angela Bassett en Sunshine State. Ha protagonizado Passion Fish, City of Hope, Matewan y The Brother from Another Planet.
